A downloadable playbook

The Shipper is a fan, fixated on a fictional world and its characters, through which they try to understand their own. Their strength is building connections through stories. Their central conflict is getting so engrossed in fandom that they neglect real relationships and responsibilities.

An unofficial playbook for Thirsty Sword Lesbians.

You can have it for free, but please consider donating to The Association of Ramaytush Ohlone whose stolen, unceded ancestral land I wrote this on. Or, you could pay some land tax where you're living. (This map can help.)

Written and illustrated by Kari Rudd.

All credit to Kona Goodhart for this idea and for egging me on to write it, along with April Kit Walsh. Big thanks to both of them and to Christie R. Fremon and Alexa Fae McDaniel for the encouragement, feedback and good ideas as I put this together. (I’m really lucky to be in a community with so many smart, creative game designers!)

I referenced the fan playbook template and style guide from Darling Bat Games, from which it was very easy to copy and paste the very good copyright text that follows:
